Last week saw me patting graduating residents on the back for successfully presenting their completed research projects in front of obstetrician-gynecologists of Cebu. Knowing the challenges they faced and overcame to complete their researches, not to mention the sleepless nights of anxiety, hypertension and epistaxis, I beam with pride to see them hurdle another step and achieve another milestone in their professional life.
As we officially amd formally welcome the first year residents as they begin their journey thru residency training in our hospital, we hope that they can learn from the experiences of their senior residents before them, and take comfort in the promise that they too will have a happy life, but first we will make them strong.
